There are a number of tools that are Pike-aware. See also the Pike Assimilation project: http://pike.ida.liu.se/projects/assimilation/


Emacs contains support for Pike, which is provided by C-Mode.


JEdit has supports syntax highlighting, and code folding. An in-depth discussion can be found at http://www.update.uu.se/~peterl/html/sub_hobbies/comp/articles/jEdit/


vim supports syntax highlighting and code completion for Pike.

Begin to type something and hit:

  • ctrl-n
  • ctrl-p

This should apply to gvim which is basically vim with a graphical interface.


TextMate is a very cool text editor for Mac OS X. More information about its support at TextMate.


nedit supports syntax hilighting and some other features. There's a modified syntax configuration floating around. We're trying to track it down.
